Former Fox News Anchor’s Mugshot Goes Viral

-

Disgraced former Fox News anchor Ed Henry is back in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons.

The 51-year-old former news anchor was recently arrested for driving under the influence in and his accompanying mugshot has gone viral online.

According to a deputy's report. Henry was arrested shortly after an officer pulled him over for driving with a busted tire. During the traffic stop, Henry reportedly informed the officer that he was unaware of the tire's condition. He then proceeded to take a turn before the “front driver's (side) tire came off the rim and rolled into the eastbound lanes almost striking an oncoming vehicle.”

Reportedly, the oncoming car had to suddenly swerve to avoid being struck by the wheel. Shortly after, Henry pulled into a car dealership and told the officer that he drove there to get the tires fixed. As Henry proceeded to explain further, the officer allegedly smelled strong fumes of alcohol wafting off his breath. The report stated:

“Henry had glassy and bloodshot eyes…His gait was unsteady. His speech was slightly slurred.”

Henry reportedly admitted to consuming “six to seven” glasses of bourbon before getting behind the wheel.

The former White House correspondent was fired from in 2020 following an investigation into allegations.

Shortly after he was fired from the network, Henry was accused of rape in a lawsuit filed by Jennifer Eckhart, a former Fox Business Network producer and online personality.

In 2021, Henry filed a defamation lawsuit against the right-wing news network and chief executive Suzanne Scott.
