Jenna Ellis, a former Trump campaign attorney, has agreed to cooperate with prosecutors in Arizona’s fake electors case.
Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes (D) announced Ellis’ cooperation in a press release on Monday night, stating:
“This agreement represents a significant step forward in our case. I am grateful to Ms. Ellis for her cooperation with our investigation and prosecution. Her insights are invaluable and will greatly aid the State in proving its case in court. As I stated when the initial charges were announced, I will not allow American democracy to be undermined – it is far too important. Today’s announcement is a win for the rule of law.”
Ellis faced nine felony charges, including fraud, forgery and conspiracy. Following her agreement to cooperate, the charges against her have been dropped. The case involving the other 17 defendants is ongoing.
The individuals indicted include Mark Meadows, Rudy Giuliani and attorney John Eastman, the architect of the fake electors plot. Among the 11 fake electors is Kelli Ward, former Arizona Republican Party chair. (RELATED: Rudy Giuliani’s Case Dismissed: Massive Damages On The Horizon)

As part of the deal, Ellis agreed to testify “completely and truthfully at any time and any place,” including at a criminal trial. She also vowed not to “protect any person or entity” through false information or omissions.

Ellis’s charges stemmed from her false claims of election fraud and efforts to pressure the Arizona Legislature into overturning the state’s election results in Trump’s favor.
She was also accused of encouraging then-Vice President Mike Pence to accept slates of fake electors instead of the true electoral votes cast for President Biden. Biden won Arizona by 10,457 votes.
The former Trump campaign lawyer faced charges in Georgia for pushing the fake electors scheme and conspiring to help Trump remain in the White House after losing the 2020 presidential election, too, but later agreed to cooperate with state prosecutors. She pleaded guilty in October to one felony count of aiding and abetting false statements and writings.
In April, Mayes announced the indictment of 18 prominent Trump aides and allies in Arizona for their alleged efforts to subvert the 2020 presidential election. The effort included a fraudulent slate of electors pledging Arizona’s 11 electoral votes to then-President Trump.
The ex-president was also identified as an unindicted co-conspirator in the case.

Interesting. The mere mention of Kris Mayes and “Fraud” in the same sentence. Repetitive speech? No better example of FRAUD than Ms Mayes, herself.
According to US Constitution Expert Mark Levine, these “fake elector” cases are just another unconstitutional lawfare tactic. Apparently, there is historical records of this tactic being used by… yep, the Democrats, in the 1800s.
Funny how they seem to have an “OK for me but not for you” attitude about the laws these days.
