During a Thursday morning press conference, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced the immediate suspension of liberal State Attorney, Andrew Warren.
Warren, a state attorney for Florida’s 13th Judicial Circuit, was accused of exercising “presumptive non-enforcement,” refusing to enforce the state’s abortion restrictions, and refusing to enforce laws cracking down on child sex changes.
“When you flagrantly violate your oath of office, when you make yourself above the law, you have violated your duty, you have neglected your duty and you are displaying a lack of competence to be able to perform those duties,” DeSantis said at a news conference in the county sheriff’s office.
“Our government is a government of laws, not a government of men,” DeSantis continued.
Throughout the press conference, multiple Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office officials praised the suspention- and eventual removal of Warren.
“Andrew Warren is a fraud,” said Hillsborough Police Chief Chad Chronsiter.
“We are suspending Soros-backed 13th circuit state attorney Andrew Warren for neglecting his duties as he pledges not to uphold the laws of the state,” DeSantis’ office said in a statement.
Governor DeSantis has appointed Judge Susan Lopez to take over as Hillsborough County’s State Attorney. Before being appointed to the bench Lopez served as an assistant state attorney in the Office of the State Attorney for the 13th Judicial Circuit.
“State Attorneys have a duty to prosecute crimes as defined in Florida law, not to pick and choose which laws to enforce based on his personal agenda,” DeSantis said in a statement. “It is my duty to hold Florida’s elected officials to the highest standards for the people of Florida. I have the utmost trust that Judge Susan Lopez will lead the office through this transition and faithfully uphold the rule of law.”
“I will follow the rule of law,” Lopez told reporters. “I look foreward to rejoining you on our shared mission to protect the poeple of Hillsborough County.”
DeSantis’ press secretary Christina Pushaw teased the big announcement Wednesday evening, causing a frenzy of speculation.
Some supporters immediately questioned whether the announcement could relate to the 2024 presidential election. DeSantis’ popularity among conservatives has skyrocketed in recent years. Many experts have ranked the Florida governor amongst the top contenders to receive the 2024 Republican nomination, especially if Trump doesn’t run.
A recent Suffolk University/USA Today poll reported DeSantis leading Trump in a hypothetical presidential preference Primary polling that combined first and second choices among possible candidates.
When the first and second choices were combined Gov. DeSantis was leading amongst all Republican contenders, including the former President. Sixty-four percent of respondents favored DeSantis in one of the top two slots, putting him 7 points above Trump.
Warren’s office had not replied to a request for comment upon the time of publication.

Much more consequential than Warren’s suspension is HOW he ever got to be a civil “leader” in America to begin with.
Figure that out and you’ll also know how the rest of today’s despots (Donkeys and Elephants alike) also got to be civil “leaders.” You’ll furthermore know what needs to be done to correct America’s abominable leadership problem.
Could it have something to do with Article 6’s Christian test ban by which mandatory biblical qualifications were likewise eliminated? Once adopted, it was inevitable that America would be ruled by nothing but nincompoops, scoundrels, incompetents, immoral reprobates, and outright criminals. Sound familiar?
Take nincompoops, for example. Exodus 18:21’s qualifications begin with the fear of Yahweh. Kings David and Solomon point out the fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Thus, without the fear of Yahweh, you end up with, at best, nincompoops as your alleged leaders.
The best you can ever get from the Constitutional Republic’s unbiblical election system is the lessers of two evils. Sometimes, the worst of the worst. And always, the evil of two lessers.

Good for you. Gov. DeSantis!!! More state governors must follow your example to reinforce respect for a nation of laws and NOT a nation of mob rule. But the DemonCrats are all about seizing control through mob rule. Then totalitarianism will take over and individual rights will have no meaning. It will be all about the ‘collective,’ but the identity of the collective and who it represents will be up to the Autocrat in charge. It will no longer matter how the people vote, for the entity that
counts the votes will decide, just as it happened here in 2020.
