PAUL’S DEFENSE BRIEF (PDB) — Trump wants a Space Guard.Space Force will ‘unconstitutionally’ begin assuming space missions currently conducted by the Air National Guard without state governors’ permission starting at the beginning of October.

The move is likely to spark criticism from some governors, lawmakers, and advocacy groups who favor creating a separate Space National Guard instead.

In late 2025, the Space Force gained legal authority in the NDAA to assume the Guard’s space missions. It involves units in Alaska, California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, and Ohio.

Assuming the missions doesn’t necessarily mean assuming the people. National Guard survey found 70 percent of respondents would prefer to retrain or retire rather than join the Space Force.

The Trump administration is now following through on the NDAA’s prescription to transfer the Air National Guard’s space-focused missions into the Space Force.

A bipartisan group of lawmakers who proposed the Space National Guard Establishment Act in March to override the previous legislation, is likely to oppose such a move.

President Trump also promised he would create a Space National Guard on the campaign trail last summer.

As to the starvation of Gazan “civilians” (if there really is such a thing, since women and children are propagandized from birth to hate Israelis to the point of murder); the terrorist fighters steal all aid meant for the “civilians” so basically the Israelis are not responsible for the hunger, Hamas is. It’s the same for civilian deaths when Israel attempts to protect its people from lethal terrorist attack by offensively fighting back. Anti-Israel terrorists use their own “civilians” as human shields and then blame the Israelis for civilian deaths. CGR
