Report: Justice Dept. Has ‘Insider Witness’ In Trump Mar-A-Lago Docs Investigation

-

The Justice Department (DOJ) has reportedly found an “insider witness” as the probe into former President Donald Trump‘s handling of classified documents heats up.

According to a report from The New York Times, numerous individuals close to the matter reported that the unidentified person now cooperating confidentially with the probe has or previously worked for at Mar-a-Lago

According to the report, the scope of the insider witness's cooperation is not yet clear, nor is the timeline, but the witness reportedly gave investigators a picture of the storage room where some materials were held.

The new insider witness appears as part of a broader effort to determine whether Trump personally ordered boxes of the sensitive material to be moved out of the storage room.

Investigators are looking into whether Trump failed or outright refused to comply with requests for certain records to be returned after the end of his presidency, as is required under the Presidential Records Act

The Times noted in its report that “nearly everyone” who works at has been subpoenaed in the probe. (RELATED: Mar-A-Lago Staff, Members Subpoenaed In Classified Docs Probe)

Special counsel Jack Smith is leading two separate investigations into the former President.

The second investigation focuses on efforts by Trump and his allies to interfere with the transfer of power after losing his reelection bid in 2020.

Recently, former vice president Mike Pence testified before a federal grand jury regarding Trump's alleged efforts to overturn the election.

  1. How can anyone possibly trust the intelligence community after this? They colluded and conspired to protect a degenerate like Hunter Biden in order to prop up a senile presidential candidate. The results of that have been predictable and disastrous.

    • How about the coup attempt by the Deep State FBI,CIA,DOJ,DHS,IRS. With the fake dossier and all the other Fake impeachments and indictment

  2. This has got to stop. Jack Smith is running a political prosecution with no basis in law other than his masters feat Trump.

  3. Lies & more lies. This shows that these people are getting more desperate since nothing else has stopped Trump & his loyal, strong voter base. When are they going to go after Biden since he took papers illegally when he was senator & classified papers have been found in half a dozen different locations!!
