Trump Liable In Sexual Abuse And Defamation Case

A jury has found former President liable in the civil suit brought by .

Carroll, 79, accused Trump of sexually assaulting her in a dressing room at a high-end department store in the mid-90s.

The jury deliberated for only three hours. The six men and three women unanimously found that Trump sexually abused Carroll and then defamed her by denying it.

Trump is liable for $5 million in damages — $2 million for sexual assault and $3 million for defamation.

As CNBC reports:

The verdict in the civil trial came after less than three hours of deliberation in U.S. District Court in lower Manhattan.

The nine-member panel started discussing potential verdicts in the case at 11:50 a.m. ET after Judge gave the panel final instructions and a 10-question verdict form.

The jury did not find, by a preponderance of the evidence, that Carroll had proved Trump raped her. However, they did say she proved sexual abuse and forcible touching by the former president.

  1. I would like to see the evidence that proves he did anything. If there was proof what was it? Without seeing this preponderance of proof all I can see is that the Democratic cesspool called New York finally were able to pull off a kangaroo court.

  2. Interesting the woman now claims to have been raped in the 90s, over 30 years ago. Is there NO statue of limitations in America. She can’t remember anything except it happened. OH, I forgot this is a NYC Jury NOT of Trumps Peers, but of his haters, So nothing else matters. Did the jury get extra credit for getting it done in a few hours including lunch?
