Democrats' hopes of holding on to majorities in the U.S. House and Senate have plummeted as an overwhelming majority of voters – including within their own party – blame “woke politicians” for rising crime.
The latest Harvard/Harris poll finds 66 percent of registered voters say crime is “rising” in America, with 24 percent seeing no change and 11 percent believing crime is dropping.
The poll also finds that 66 percent of voters believe the U.S. economy is on the wrong track.
Voters have historically blamed rising crime on economic troubles.
But this time a stunning 64 percent of voters blame “woke politicians” for the crisis. Only 36 percent of voters blame “other factors,” such as the economy.
Even 52 percent of Democrats blame “woke politicians” for crime, indicating the party is struggling with its own voters.
The first signs of a split between “Defund the Police” activists and Democrat voters came in the 2022 Democrat primaries, where candidates who previously supported the “Defund the Police” movement suddenly turned and voiced opposition.
Even in Washington, D.C.'s local Democrat primary, one of the most left-wing in the nation, Mayor Muriel Bowser attacked her opponent as a “Defund the Police” supporter in ads aimed at Democrat voters, even though she once publicly endorsed it and even ordered a street near the White House painted over with the slogan.
Polls found the only group supporting “Defund the Police” were wealthy whites with college degrees, with blacks and Hispanics among the voters most opposed.

How can they say that the biggest supporters of defund the police are rich whites? You would think they are the ones that would want more police to help protect them and their wealth from not only the criminals, but the woke politicians. Is it any wonder we don’t trust polls?
They have private armed security guards.
Because the rich whites want control over everyone and it is geared to minorities to gain control!

Considering that today’s societal woes are based entirely on democrat policies and actions, it indeed IS THEIR FAULT.
The people does not want the government to have complete control over you! They want an honest government that does what the people want and the government out of there way for living there lives! They want law and order, they want federal employees that committed criminal acts to be prosecuted and if found guilty the leaders get 20 years in jail and the others 10 years in jail, no presidential pardons, no early release, loss of all perks and when released cannot work for media or companies doing business with the government and that includes states also! This is the only way to clean up federal employees, one last thing get rid of federal employees union, it was a reward by JFK for the Teamsters committing criminal acts in the 1960 election that got him the Presidency! A wrong that has to be made right!
Call me when the “woke” wake up. It’s mostly in lib areas and they continue to vote for the lib trash that causes it with their “defund the police” drivel, weak justice systems that realease the criminals with no bail or weak sentencing so I have zero sympathy for the idiots. Let them rot if they don’t die.
The problems come in when these woke politicians release the criminals without posting any bail back to the streets where they commit further crimes. Take a look at Fetterman’s record. He early released convicted criminals where two turned around and murdered a couple of women. Does he feel any remorse for his leniency? Probably not.
