The curvy couch shared by Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt and Brian Kilmeade became decidedly less comfortable this morning at Fox News Channel. Normally friendly banter between the co-hosts grew heated after Doocy told Kilmeade point-blank there is no smoking gun evidence foreign entities have compromised President Joe Biden.
Doocy remains skeptical of circumstantial evidence Hunter Biden’s business dealings corrupted the president, demanding Republican guests produce proof the commander-in-chief acted inappropriately or violated any laws. “Fox & Friends” has repeatedly mentioned that millions flowed to the Biden family and associates from shady overseas dealings. Still, Doocy again poured cold water on the allegations this morning, saying Republicans “have not shown that Joe Biden profited personally or he had broken any rules.”
An exasperated Kilmeade entered the fray, claiming the GOP had done a phenomenal job. “I vehemently disagree,” he declared. From there, things got worse.
“No, no. Let me finish,” he added as they began talking over one another.
“Let me finish! I started,” Doocy retorted.
“This is funneling right to him at a rapid pace. They have had this job for eight months,” Kilmeade replied.
Doocy responded: “What’s funneling into him?”
“Everything! Is Joe involved? Is Joe’s presence involved in every major business deal that Hunter was involved in? As Andy McCarthy said, Joe was the business. He had the access. Hunter didn’t. Hunter didn’t have the reputation. It’s leading right there,” Kilmeade responded.
“Brian, what laws did Joe Biden break?” Doocy asked.
“If the American people knew,” Kilmeade began.
“Just answer the question. What law did he break?” Doocy interjected.
“Number one, the investigation is not done,” Kilmeade stated.
“That’s my point! Brian, they need better investigators,” Doocy replied.
“Do you not want to hear any reporting until it’s done?” Kilmeade then fired back.
While Ainsley Earhardt attempted to ease the onstage acrimony, Doocy got in another jab: “They just don’t have the smoking gun yet.”
“This is a raging fire,” an exasperated Kilmeade shouted.
Doocy continued to tamp down on claims of Biden’s illegal involvement in his family’s business schemes, leading to another dust-up between himself and Kilmeade later in the same segment.
“To my earlier point, the Republicans just need to present the evidence to the American people and say, look, they have got to say okay…,” Doocy reiterated.
Kilmeade was flabbergasted: “Nineteen pages wasn’t enough yesterday?”
“Brian, they’ve got to say we can prove Joe Biden broke the law by doing this,” Doocy began. “That’s all I’m saying…”
“So you only want a concluding sentence?” Kilmeade accused his co-host. “You don’t want to see the investigation?”
“I’m watching the investigation!” Doocy shot back.
Kilmeade argued the investigation thus far was “the most damning…I have ever seen.”
“I said it looks terrible,” Doocy concurred. “We just need proof so the American public…”
Kilmeade was unconvinced: “You said Republicans are doing a terrible job!”
“I said they need better investigators that can connect the dots,” Doocy replied. He then turned toward the camera, adding: “We disagree about this.”

I think it’s time to say goodbye to Mr. Doocy. First and foremost, it is not the job of the Republicans to find the evidence that is being covered up by the FBI, Dept of Justice, CIA, etc. they are doing their best, but when it takes months of requests for info, threats of subpoenas, etc. to get anything and even then to have most of it redacted, it’s next to impossible to get the truth. Doocey no longer seems to have common sense. Get him off the air.
I agree wholeheartedly with Kilmeade’s approach and attitude. I’ve noticed over the past year that many of Doocy’s retorts have been totally out of left field. I watch the show and Brian sits on the edge of his chair and you can see in his eyes that he doesn’t believe what he’s hearing come out of Doocy’s mouth. I too think it’s time for Steve to go sit on the back porch. He’s had a long run. His son can carry on the family name.
what the President did was to behave in a highly unethical manner….that ought to be the…which ought to be the standard for how he is judged…..that is fact and is incontrovertible….
In the face of such obstinate denial of truth and facts by Doocy my knee-jerk suspicion is to check Doocy’s family to ascertain they aren’t tied up their basement. In other words I believe nothing short of terror to his family by evil people would motivate an otherwise sensible man to spew such blatant nonsense.
Hard to believe Doocy, who always seemed like he had common sense, is so confused. He ought to see that Biden was stupid enough to boast about his arm-twisting the Ukrainians to fire clean-nosed prosecutor Viktor Shokin, who was sest to investigate dirty, corrupt Ukrainian energy company Burisma and that Hunter, with no energy background, only got a lucrative board post at Burisma because he was Biden’s son. Yet Trump was impeached for wanting to investigate Biden’s corrupt Ukraine dealings?! No civil servant- inc. the President, is allowed to take actions which benefit their family’s financial interests– it’s highly unethical and minimally warrants firing. A corrupt President must be removed from office through impeachment and conviction. Under the Hobbs Act, simply conspiring to accept a bribe is a felony. Does Doocy know nothing about 10-50% (acc. to Hunter) for the “big guy”? & commingled funds between Joe and Hunter? Does he not understand the evidence that’s emerged from 170 SARs, and 20 shell companies (meant to hide taxable income from the IRS, which, if we had a Department of Justice, is worthy of a RICO investigation? Why does he think Joe brought Hunter along on all those Air Force Two trips- to talk about the weather? How sad– I used to like Doocy.
I think it must be willful ignorance and nothing can overcome such ignorance when the emotional need for deception outweighs reason.

I like Peter Doocey, but I think he’s totally wrong this time. Bank records show that the Biden Family received approximately $20 mil from foreign governments and the money was dispersed to several LLC’s and then to family members. Hunter is brain dead and never could have acquired that money on his own. Joe had to be part of it and even if he didn’t realize it, the money came from his influence. If it was a Trump child they’d be in jail for life by now.

And he thinks he knows everything because of his son peter partially covering the white house and trying to get biden to answer questions. I’m generally a faithful Fox watcher but missed this hot exchange. Seems Steve is technically correct while Brian wants Fox to cover the evidence leading to prosecution. I’m wondering where this hostility originated. Watching the CIC (Coprolite in Chief) race to his well-deserved trial is worth my time. I’m happy to watch the steps to our CIC’s demise as long as it proves progress to his demise.
