Harris Steps Back, Mark Cuban Takes The Lead On Tax Policy Discussion

On Tuesday morning, CNBC reported that Vice President Kamala Harris has delegated discussions on tax policy to billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban for the final two weeks of the presidential campaign. The decision reportedly stems from concerns that Harris could alienate voters or major donors if she missteps in handling the complicated issue.

Cuban has been actively supporting Harris on the campaign trail, though his public appearances have received mixed reactions. In a recent interview with CNN’s Erin Burnett, Cuban argued that Harris is a better choice for border policy than former President Donald Trump.

“Here’s my opinion… I thought their hearts were too big when Joe came into office. They didn’t know how many people would cross the border and it got away from them,” Cuban said.

“But they figured it out,” he added, alluding to supposed improvements made by the current administration.

Tuesday’s shift in campaign strategy comes alongside a surprising announcement from the Democratic camp. Harris is taking the day off from public events to prepare for two interviews. At 3:40 p.m., she is set to record an interview with NBC’s Hallie Jackson, followed by another with Telemundo’s Julio Vaqueiro at 4:30 p.m.

Polling data continues to show a tight race. According to the latest RealClearPolitics (RCP) polling average, Harris leads Trump by a slim margin of 0.8 percentage points. However, in crucial battleground states, Trump holds an edge, leading by an average of 1.2 points. The RCP betting average currently gives Trump a 60.1% chance of winning a second term.

As the campaign enters its final stretch, do you think bringing in Cuban will actually help Kamala Harris, or is this just another desperate move? We’d love to hear your thoughts—share them in the comments below!

She is an unmitigated disaster, period. As far as Cuban goes, I used to respect him, until now.

    “Tuesday’s shift in campaign strategy”

Strategy? That’s a good one! Obviously stated by someone who doesn’t know what strategy is and hopes you don’t know either. This is a desperate tactical move by a failing campaign that has no one on the ticket competent to talk about the #1 issue for voters.

Mark Cuban is an idiot; he’s somehow turned far to the left and can’t seem to understand the flight of Americans. I guess his turning far to the liberal side in support of the dumbest candidate in American history tell the tail. She certainly does not understand economics, but in her 3.5 years as a vice president was actually a ghost who we don’t even know. Every task assigned to her she has failed or evaded responsibility for, especially the border crises, leaving it totally open for anyone and everyone to cross over. She has in fact caused all states to the brink of bankruptcy, putting illegals into all states causing them financial hardships to maintain their communities.

I have never cared for Mark Cuban; I believe he’s intelligent when it comes to money, but he rubs me the wrong way. It’s almost painful to listen to him talk. He’s so egotistical, as well as Kamala; maybe that’s why they like each other. The only thing worse than Kamala and Biden is Cuban, Kamala and Biden. Who could listen to that clap-trap? Trump and Vance all the way! God Bless America!!!

Defers to Cuban(a man) and is instructed by Obama(a man we think) and Soros(a man). Suburban women must hate themselves for voting for Harris.

How can two people, Kamala & Mark, neither of which has received a single vote from anyone in this nation, pretend to have the audacity to work on Taxes for we, the mere voting public??

Cuban has sold his soul to the devil. Proving wealth does not necessarily bring common sense.

Of course she takes a back seat on policy because she has not a clue what her policy is nor how it would impact Americans.
