Tomi Lahren Blasts GOP: ‘Vote Republican, Get Democrat Policy Anyway’

Fox News host Tomi Lahren blasted the Republican Party on Wednesday, accusing GOP leaders of failing to follow through on the promises that helped put them back in power.

In a post on X, Lahren argued that Republican voters have not seen meaningful progress on many of the issues that defined recent election campaigns, including immigration enforcement and election integrity.

“Vote Republican, get Democrat policy anyway,” Lahren wrote.

The conservative commentator said Republican victories at the ballot box have not translated into the policy changes many voters expected, adding to growing frustration among some conservatives over the pace of the party’s agenda.

Criticism extends beyond party leadership

Lahren directed her criticism not only at Republican leadership in general but also at Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin.

She also questioned why Maine Republicans should support Sen. Susan Collins in what is expected to be one of the nation’s most closely watched Senate races.

Her comments quickly drew support from former Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino.

“So well stated!!!” Bovino replied to Lahren’s post on X.

Bovino was removed from his post in January after two high-profile fatal immigration enforcement incidents involving the deaths of Renée Good and Alex Pretti.

Immigration enforcement faces renewed scrutiny

Lahren’s criticism comes as Immigration and Customs Enforcement has come under increased scrutiny following three fatal incidents connected to immigration enforcement operations over the past week.

On July 7, immigration agents shot and killed 52-year-old Lorenzo Salgado Araujo during an enforcement operation in Houston. The Department of Homeland Security later acknowledged that Salgado Araujo was not the intended target of the operation.

Another fatal encounter occurred Monday in Maine, where immigration agents shot and killed 26-year-old Joan Sebastian Guerrero. Authorities also said Guerrero was not the agency’s intended target.

A third incident unfolded in St. Augustine, Florida, where a 28-year-old Mexican national died after being struck by a truck.

According to authorities, ICE and Homeland Security agents had stopped four people in a parking lot when all four fled on foot. Officials said the man ran into oncoming traffic during the chase and was struck by a passing truck.

Conservative frustration grows

Lahren’s remarks reflect a broader debate within the Republican Party over whether GOP officials are moving aggressively enough on the issues that energized the party’s base.

Immigration enforcement has remained one of the party’s signature priorities, but recent enforcement controversies and criticism from conservative voices such as Lahren have fueled renewed questions about whether Republican leaders are delivering on the agenda grassroots activists expected after the election.

While I seriously share Lahren’s frustration over the sluggish pace of Trump’s agenda and Mullin’s inexplicable stance rejecting the GOP in favor of the the left is akin to a childish tantrum. Your comments are NOT helpful Tomi.
