In last month’s election, many Latino voters embraced conservative policies, flocking to President-elect Donald Trump’s working-class coalition.
Consider Starr County, Texas, a border community that is 97.7% Hispanic or Latino. For over a century, it voted reliably Democratic. Yet in 2024, Starr County flipped Republican, with 57.77% backing Trump—the first time the GOP claimed victory there in a presidential election since 1896.
This shift wasn’t confined to Texas. In Pennsylvania, a pivotal battleground state, Trump saw significant support from the growing Latino community. Their reasons were clear: cultural conservatism, economic well-being and a yearning for the prosperity reminiscent of the pre-pandemic economy. One prominent Puerto Rican leader in Pennsylvania summarized their perspective succinctly: “It’s simple, really. We liked the way things were four years ago.”
The contrast is striking. While progressive voices like Roginsky amplify alarmist rhetoric, an increasing number of Latino voters are gravitating toward a platform of opportunity, stability and security. It’s a reminder that the immigration debate is far more nuanced than the caricatures presented on cable news.

Well, as Tom Homan said, he will have no problem putting you in jail because you are harboring criminals. I personally hope you live up to what you are saying because once they put you behind bars for harboring criminals you won’t be able to get in the way any longer. These people are criminals and a massively heavy burden on American tax payers. They get more assistance than our homeless veterans. Enough is enough. Democrats/Liberals/Progressives live in this fantasy world where money is just printed if you need more and then blame inflation on anything but the government printing more money to pay for their fiscally irresponsible, reckless spending habits. They’re like a teenager who got Daddy’s credit card.
So this broad wants to defend breaking the law and fighting against Americans. Is there an island somewhere that we can relocate these people? I shouldn’t be surprised and certainly am not. They have been pushing lawlessness since 2015. It’s in their blood now, so the cure, don’t give them anymore viewership. Let them tank and take all their ill-gotten money and move to Italy or the flood plains in England.
Julie Roginsky is an idiot and all she must be looking for fame and fortune with this issue. Stating her answer to the question of are there terrorists here; “I don’t know”.
If she pulled her head out of her behind and lived in our world of day-to-day reality she wouldn’t state that kind a garbage talk.
