Democrats are doomed…
A former Democrat predicted that the party will likely lose big again in 2028 if California Governor Gavin Newsom is the next presidential nominee.
During an appearance on Jesse Watters Primetime, former Democrat operative Evan Barker revealed she had officially left the party and voted for President-elect Trump in November.
“Gavin Newsom, if he actually becomes the nominee in 2028 — the Democrats deserve to lose again because there’s no way a pretty boy from Marin County is going to be able to win over swing voters in swing states. It’s not going to happen,” she said.
Barker noted that voters will remember that Newsom infamously dined at the Michelin-star French Laundry restaurant during the COVID-19 lockdowns, only one of many out-of-touch incidents she claimed would make it difficult for him to connect with working-class voters.
Since Trump’s election victory, Newsom has emerged as one of the Democrat Party leaders getting ready to lead the opposition against incoming legislation. The governor announced that California state lawmakers would meet to quickly take legislative action to “Trump-proof” the state.
Lawmakers wrapped up an emergency session to “Trump-proof” the Golden State this week, where the proposal to feed the state’s Justice Department against the incoming administration was the primary focus.
The Democrat-led state legislature is expected to introduce proposed legislation in the coming weeks. If approved, California’s Justice Department and state agencies would receive extra funding for court battles regarding areas like reproductive rights, environmental protection and immigration.
California Republicans have strongly criticized the Governor’s proposal and accused him of wasting taxpayer dollars.
“I wish my elected leaders would spend their time solving problems rather than creating more problems,” former California Rep. Doug Ose, a Republican, said Tuesday on Fox & Friends First.
“Newsom’s effort to basically fund his campaign for president in 2028 is just going to be a total waste of money that could be better spent on homelessness or schools or public safety and the like. This is just a charade.”
Officials anticipate the legislation will be signed into law before Inauguration Day on Jan. 20.
Newsom’s second term will finish at the end of next year, coinciding with the time the 2028 presidential election will start to heat up.

Californians are deathly tired of the Pelosi, Newsense leadership professing his total lack of judgement and true leadership in his Kalifornia dream state. This past election showed an improved move toward a Red State position, not letting the vast blue left coastal towns and cities rule the roost. Hopefully in 2026 we will make additional headway in beating the Wokeness that permeates in Kalifornia. People are waking up and hopefully Trump’s total control of the Senate and Congress will make some positive changes both in the people’s economic positions but give all Americans a boost up regardless of race, color or political bent.
