No Labels Founder Pledges To End Third-Party Effort If It Aids TrumpĀ

-

The founder of the political organization No Labels says that the group will end its third-party push if the results are aiding former President Donald Trump.

Despite the group's aversion to the former president founder and CEO Nancy JacobsonĀ declined to say what metrics the group would use to make that choice during an interview with NBC.

ā€œAs a Democrat? Categorically, that will not happen,ā€ Jacobson said in response to a question over concerns that a third-party ballot could take away votes from President Biden. ā€œThis effort will never ā€” we'll pull it down.ā€

ā€œWe will not spoil for either side. The only reason to do this is to win,ā€ she added.

ā€œWe've said from the beginning, all of our lawyers have said, we're not going to offer our ballot line if it looks like it's going to be a waste of votes at all,ā€ she said.

ā€œI think what we stay true to is that the American people want a choice and they ā€”Ā on both sides. It looks like they don't want the choices that they're given,ā€ Jacobson added.

Ben Chavis, the Democrat co-chairman of No Labels, alsoĀ told NBC NewsĀ last month that the group ā€œis not and will not be a spoiler in favor of TrumpĀ in 2024.ā€

The political organization has drawn concerns from Democrat lawmakers and pundits recently, especially in the wake of the group's recent push in New Hampshire. On Monday, Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.)Ā headlined the group's event,Ā adding fuel to rumors he may run on the group's bipartisan ticket.

The group has already secured places on the ballot in multiple states includingĀ Arizona,Ā Alaska,Ā Colorado, andĀ Oregon.

  1. Why do they hate Trump so irrationally? My Mother used to say: ‘They hated Christ, too.’ Whoever tries to do some good in this world for this world must take lumps for it.

  2. Even TDS has a place in America. A mental institution for the incorrigibly insane comes to mind. Or else a sewage treatment plant.

Either one would probably work just fine.

  3. If he believes that, he has been LYING about what No Labels stands for from the start.
I have believed that from the start.

  4. Trump has nerves like steal, He already has everything he needs in life and then some. This is a fight he is ready to undertake. Go Trump!
