The 2 Essential Questions To Ask Every Republican Candidate

-

Every day there is a new outrage or attack on our freedoms, and it is hard to know where to start.

At the federal level this week, there is a push to get rid of lawnmowers and leaf blowers.  These items were invented to make our lives better, but the greenies don't like them.

At the state level, the People's Republic of Massachusetts wants to give cash assistance to illegals and free tuition to everyone.

At the county level, the government wants to require homeowners to get new Title 5 systems to stop the nitrogen problem on Cape Cod. Not only will this cost homeowners $20,000 on average, but they are also demanding homeowners disclose if the house ever gets rented.

At the local level, the Wareham Harbor Master has declared war on dinghies. For over two decades leaving a dinghy on the beach was no problem at our family summer home. Now to save the environment, we must permit our dinghies and if you don't have a boat on a mooring, you are not allowed to have a dinghy. This is priceless considering five years ago the town removed all the trash barrels from the beach. They want beachgoers to take their trash with them. Do you know what happens in reality? Trash is left all over the beach.  So, they let trash fly all over the beach, but rowboats are a public enemy.

In the neighboring town, which has been somewhat conservative, a child was kicked out of school for wearing a shirt that says there are only two genders.

That's just this week.

While we are at work, our schools are trying to fundamentally transform our children into something other than two genders. The controllers want to snuff out air conditioners, gas stoves, washing machines, dryers and cars. If air conditioners are outlawed, then the first one to go is the one in The White House!

How many battles can we fight?

The other day, my brother was expressing his outrage about all of the problems but then explained he has to earn a living, so he and his wife don't have the time to stand up for their rights. Even working in politics and fighting many battles, I feel overwhelmed with how many fronts we are facing for standing up for the right to live freely.

I have always believed in live and let live. But we are not being allowed to live. No matter what you do or where you go, the government is coming after you. We have always battled the left to keep our guns, but now they are coming for all of life's conveniences and the jobs that they create.

The ultimate problem is the size of the government. For example, the Feeding Neighbors Coalition pushing for cash assistance for illegals is made up of 65 groups, and most of them get government grants. So our tax dollars are funding these lefties to give away our money.

On the climate change front, our new greenie governor in Massachusetts just gave $100 million in grants to municipalities so they could hire a “climate change expert.” So our tax dollars are being spent to harass us at the local level.

The federal government is notorious for giving out all sorts of money to organizations to lobby against us – the working people.

We need to cut down the size of government. Like the progressives want to defund the police, we need to defund the bureaucrats and the grants. The only way to do that is to elect people of courage. That's why we need term limits. A term-limited Member of is not obligated to all the lobbyists and special interest groups that want our money. Moreover, they are not afraid of government bureaucrats.

So, when voting, ask two questions of candidates: Did they sign the Americans for Tax Reform no new pledge, and did they sign the U.S. Term Limits pledge? If not, then look for another candidate.

  1. I expect them to support the Fair Tax. I’m fed up with the political manipulation and excessive administrative cost of the income tax.

  3. There ae indeed two biological genders. All those who propose more are supporting the destruction of morality and aiding social decay. If this continues, USA will not be worth saving.
