Report: Times Expose Sheds New Light On Infamous Giuliani Drinking Problem

-

This is disturbing…

A new report on Rudy Giuliani's drinking problem details how the former New York City mayor frequently indulged before appearing on to defend former President Trump.

According to the New York Times, the ex-attorney for former Trump often overdrank at the Havana Club — an exclusive, members-only cigar club in Manhattan — before appearing on the network.

From the Times:

“On some nights when Mr. Giuliani was overserved, an associate discreetly signaled the rest of the club, tipping back his empty hand in a drinking motion, out of the former mayor's line of sight, in case others preferred to keep their distance. Some allies, watching Mr. Giuliani down Scotch before leaving for Fox News interviews, would slip away to find a television, clenching through his rickety defenses of Mr. Trump.”

MSNBC host Rev. Al Sharpton, a fellow Havana Club member, told the Times he took part in a “running gag” involving those Fox News interviews.

“[Sharpton] and others who opposed Mr. Trump sometimes playfully encouraged a server to double Mr. Giuliani's liquor orders before he went on Fox,” Flegenheimer and Haberman wrote.

“People would walk by after he started drinking a lot and act like he wasn't there,” Sharpton said, describing the scene at the club.

The former mayor's drinking habit and other alarming behavior have come up during investigations. Last month, former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson accused the former Trump attorney of groping her on the day of the Capitol riot. Giuliani vehemently denied having a drinking problem Wednesday, following the scathing report from The Times.

“I do not have an alcohol problem. I have never had an alcohol problem,” Giuliani said during a press conference in Concord, New Hampshire in response to questions about the Times report.

“[If] I have an alcohol problem, I should be in the Guinness Book of World Records,” Giuliani said, citing his various accomplishments and his job history as evidence refuting the report.

“Nobody could have achieved that if they did [have a drinking problem]. … I was working 24 hours a day. It's a big damn lie,” Giuliani told reporters, who had gathered outside Merrimack County Superior Court.

  1. What do you expect from known liars at the New York Slimes? They neglect to mention the constantly pickled state of Pelosi, who often can’t be understood from the slurring of her speech. IF Giuliani drank before facing the cameras (and he says it is a lie) at least it was undetectable from his speech.

    • I don’t think this piece of journalism bears any weight and if it does why is drinking before appearing on TV “disturbing “?. Do your investigation before you put this bullshit to pen.

  2. Well, if this is true, at least it is a legal substance he is involved in, not like the Biden family. Hunter with every drug under the sun and Joe with drunken power.

    • YEP !!! No trace of fingerprints , Capitol many, many , many video cameras as to “who put the drugs in the White House” WHO- WHO- WHO !!! What apiece of crap!

  3. No. 1. who in God’s name would believe two well known liars Cassidy Hutchison & Rev. Al Sharpton ——-total insanity with these idiots They wouldn’t & couldn’t tell the truth it it came and bit them on the nose !!!!

  4. If the staff did indeed overserve him by giving him stronger drinks without his knowledge – then they should be fired. Casual/social drinkers know their limits – as long as someone doesn’t mess with the alcohol content of their drins – that’s a dangreous thing to do.

  5. Like anyone with half a brain would believe the NY Times about anything. Or Al Shaprten? Is this supposed to be serious?

  6. Such a sad Liberal hit piece! Hunter Biden has done enough drugs, hookers and drinking for all of decadent Washington!

  7. This gossip may or may not be true, but the only “facts” we have here are some comments from those who dislike Giuliani and would love to see him humiliated. Al Sharpton and Cassidy Hutchinson are the only two mentioned by name. They certainly are not models of truth and integrity. Count me as a disbeliever unless further evidence appears
