Marjorie Taylor Greene Calls for Red States to Secede After Biden’s Visit to Kyiv

-

Georgia Republican has had enough.

The conservative firebrand took to Twitter after it was reported President Biden traveled to Kyiv this weekend in a show of solidarity with Ukrainian President .

Her Presidents' Day message was simple: it's time for a “national divorce.”

Per Mediaite:

“We need a national divorce,” Greene declared on Twitter. “We need to separate by red states and blue states and shrink the federal government. Everyone I talk to says this. From the sick and disgusting woke culture issues shoved down our throats to the Democrat's traitorous America Last policies, we are done.”

Greene expressed her disdain for Biden's surprise visit in a separate tweet.

U.S. officials notified the Kremlin hours ahead of Biden's trip. has targeted Kyiv with a wave of missile attacks in recent weeks as fighting rages hundreds of kilometers to the east.

Fox News has more on what officials are calling an unprecedented trip:

Biden himself acknowledged the challenges facing Ukraine in comments during his visit. Large areas of Ukraine remain under Russian control even after months of successful ground offensives from Kyiv's forces.

“Over the last year, the United States has built a coalition of nations from the Atlantic to the Pacific to help defend Ukraine with unprecedented military, economic, and humanitarian support – and that support will endure,” Biden said in a Monday statement.

Sirens could be heard in war-torn Ukraine as Biden arrived in the country. The U.S. has already supported Ukraine with tens of billions of dollars in financial aid and military equipment.

Biden's visit comes just before Russia is expected to ramp up its offensive once again in its own acknowledgment of the one-year anniversary of the conflict. Ukrainian officials warned of a massive barrage of missiles that Russia may launch on Friday, Feb. 24.

  1. Is Sleepy Joe so stupid to think that the Russians won’t bomb Kiev if he’s there? That may just make Kiev a better target for them.

  2. The problem isn’t blue states; it’s the millions of conservatives in blue states being held politically hostage by the big-city cesspools that dominate blue states. Is there a single blue state that isn’t politically dominated by a big city?

  3. You have idiotic republican politicians pushing for the same thing as Xi Obiden. Linsdey Ghramn, Chris Stewart, Cocaine Mitch, Smittent Romney, just to name a few… I am so fed up with the status quo of politicians spending us into oblivian defending every Tom Dick and Harry Nation/Cause/Mission and meanwhile we are under invasion from the South and the Undgodly perverse demonic Democrot Party is destroying us from within because we have weak gutless “”Conservatives”” that jump when someone says BOO. Yet they will fight like hell forthese other Nations but play tiddly winks with our own enemy within.

  4. Been saying that for years. Create a new free America and let the liberals sink into the depravity, chaos and destruction that they are only capable of.

  5. The Union was created from the states. Each state gave it’s voluntary acceptance into the Union; thus states can withdraw that acceptance. Many uneducated people in this country think that the federal government created the states; it did not. Withdrawal from the Union does not require the consent of the federal government, no more than you terminating your gym membership requires the consent of the gym’s corporate leadership.
