Liberal Billionaire George Soros Pours Another Million Into Stacey Abrams’ Campaign

-

Stacey Abrams has received another influx of cash with less than a month until Election Day.

The latest monetary reprieve comes from none other than liberal billionaire George Soros, who donated another million to Abrams One Georgia Inc. One Georgia Inc. Georgia Inc. is a leadership committee chaired by Abrams and used to aid her candidacy, it also shares an address and treasurer with her campaign according to reports.

Soros' latest donation brings his sum total of funds allocated to Abrams' 2022 gubernatorial campaign to $3.5 million. Soros' Democracy PAC II, a federal committee bankrolled by $125 million from the financier directed the funds to Abrams.

According to Fox News, in addition to Soros' millions, his daughter Andrea Soros Colombel poured $100,000 into One Georgia in August, the filings show. Soros' daughter-in-law, Jennifer Allan Soros, also donated $500 to One Georgia in September. Soros and his relatives have added $60,000 directly to Abrams' campaign this cycle.

Soros' latest influx of funds towards Abrams only highlights the latest in a years-long attempt to put the radical Georgia Democrat into office.

In 2016, a company owned by Abrams, Sage Works LLC, received $15,000 in consulting payments from the Georgia Safety & Justice PAC, which was funded entirely by $147,000 from Soros.

Two years after the payment, Abrams attended a 2018 Atlanta gathering of the Democracy Alliance donor club, a network of wealthy progressives Soros co-founded that helps set the Democratic agenda. While there, Abrams headlined a closed-door speech.

Soros' Open Society Policy Center later donated $850,000 to the New Georgia Project Action Fund, an Abrams-founded dark money voter registration group, tax forms show. Georgia Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock chaired the group at the time of the donation and also appeared at the donor confab alongside Abrams.

Abrams is facing off against incumbent Georgia Gov. , in a rematch after Abrams narrowly lost the office in 2018. RealClearPolitics reports that Gov. Kemp holds a five-point advantage over the Democrat challenger. (RELATED: Stacey Abrams Peddles Claim She ‘Never Denied' 2018 Election Loss, the Facts Say Otherwise)

The liberal billionaire has focused much of his political efforts on installing left-wing district attorneys across the nation which he views as a significant component of overhauling the criminal justice system. (RELATED: George Soros Will Continue Bankrolling Leftist DAs Despite Decline in Public Safety)

However, despite Soros' best efforts to rebuild the criminal justice system from the group up Americans have not always been so keen on his radical candidates. For example, over the summer Soros-connected San Fransisco DA Chesa Boudin was successfully recalled after citizens became sick of dangerous soft-on- policies plaguing their community.

Los Angeles DA George Gascon, who was also supported by Soros, recently faced a similar recall effort but ultimately has hung on to his position.

  1. As someone that use to live in Georgia during my working years, I find it hard to believe that the citizens there would ever vote this radical left wing democrat to be their governor. I remember them being smarter than that.

  2. Georgians are not going to vote for a candidate just because they have the most money in their coffers or because they run the most ads. They will vote for the candidate who doesn’t have an agenda to destroy their state and country and will best represent them. That sure isn’t Stacy Abrams.

  3. Georgie-poo is pouring his filthy money into the sewer where it belongs. The self-serving, mendacious rhymes-with-rich will have a hard time getting elected, from what I hear from Georgians who have escaped brainwashing.

  4. So tell me why is it now acceptable for people running for office to accept foreign donations? What the hell happened to this ideology? Not even the politicians are talking about this sends up =RED FLAGS.

  5. She looks like she swallowed Soros that evil BASTARD. Everytime he backs a radical crap bag like her or gets these left wing scumbag D.A’s elected and Governors I am amazed that he is still alive. I know his country of origin wants him for war crimes. The day that old shmeckle dies , I am throwing a block party.

  6. I think Brian Kemp should shine a spotlight on this and tie Abrams to all the soft on crime DA’s Soros got elected around the country. Republicans should do this to anyone connected with Soros donations.
