“After tirelessly working to bring justice to the victim, Hialeah Police Detectives have arrested and charged Jonathan Alexander Casanova for the attack which occurred on Sunday, October 23, 2022,” Sgt. Jose Torres said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

On Wednesday, following reports of the second arrest, Rubio hit at local for attempting to downplay the attack and ignore key facts that show it was politically motivated.

“Local media spent 2 day treating the GOP canvasser who was attacked as a criminal & denying the attack was politically motivated” Rubio tweeted.

“Now a second arrest, a police report & surveillance video shows how biased & irresponsible the narrative they were pushing was,” the Senator continued.

As American Liberty News previously reported, Torres was attacked by a group of four men while knocking on doors as part of the senator's get-out-the-vote effort in the Miami suburb of Hialeah, FL. 1. The left is an unhinged terrorist group. Not only disastrous ideologies but murder, assault destruction looting and arson.

  2. Will these four racist Democrats also be charged with a hate crime and be deported after serving their time? Maybe stack “election interference” on to the list of charges.

  3. Democrats AND THE MEDIA are responsible for the rhetoric that results in these attacks. All started with Barry and Maxine Waters and the shooting or Scalise- the lack of outrage from the brain dead public was a giving the cultural Marxists a pass that violence against conservatives is OK. You get what you vote for. Evils exists when good men do nothing.
