According to multiple reports, Iran is reinforcing its underground nuclear facilities and has firmly rejected U.S. demands to cease uranium enrichment, escalating tensions amid ongoing negotiations over its nuclear program.
Satellite imagery analyzed by the Institute for Science and International Security reveals that Iran is constructing a substantial security perimeter around tunnel complexes near its primary nuclear facility at Natanz. These tunnels, situated beneath Mount Kolang Gaz La, are believed to be nearing operational status and have not been inspected by the U.N., raising concerns about potential storage of undeclared nuclear materials or advanced centrifuges capable of rapidly enriching uranium to weapons-grade levels.
NEW SATELLITE IMAGERY shows Iran is constructing a new, large security perimeter around the base of Mt. Kolang Gaz La, an area housing a new, large tunnel complex, and a smaller one dating to 2007, located south of the Natanz enrichment complex. At least six U.S. B-2 bombers are now stationed at Diego Garcia air base in the Indian Ocean. This is important because the B-2 is the only aircraft that can deliver the massive GBU-57, one of the only bombs that can destroy Iran’s nuclear sites at Natanz and Fordow.

During the third round of nuclear talks in Oman on Saturday, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio proposed that Iran rely solely on imported uranium for its civil nuclear program, aiming to limit Iran’s enrichment capabilities while ensuring full external inspections. However, Iran’s chief negotiator, Abbas Araghchi, dismissed this proposal, emphasizing Iran’s plans to expand its nuclear energy infrastructure and asserting that uranium enrichment is a “non-negotiable” right under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.
The U.S. maintains that Iran must completely cease uranium enrichment under any agreement, with Rubio stating that allowing Iran to enrich uranium while claiming a non-weapons program would make it the only country doing so, raising significant concerns.
For his part, President Donald Trump has signaled a willingness to lead military action against Iran should ongoing nuclear negotiations fail. In a recent statement, he declared, “If no agreement is reached — I’ll gladly join. I’ll lead it,” emphasizing a preference for diplomacy but acknowledging the possibility of force if necessary.
As Breitbart reports, Trump told Time magazine in an interview published Friday that he would not need to be persuaded by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to launch an attack if a deal cannot be reached. Nevertheless, anxiety among the Israelis is reportedly running high:
Israel is said to fear that the Trump administration may sign a “bad” deal in the president’s rush to produce a diplomatic achievement. But Iran is refusing the administration’s public demands, such as ending its nuclear enrichment program, meaning that the regime may soon leave Trump with no choice but to launch an attack.
Israel has destroyed Iran’s air defenses, following two massive ballistic missile attacks by Iran last year, which were largely intercepted by Israel’s missile shield, with the help of the U.S. and even Arab allies in the region.
Despite their disagreements, both Washington and Tehran have agreed to continue negotiations, with a high-level meeting tentatively set for May 3 in Europe. The outcome of these talks remains uncertain, as Iran’s fortified nuclear infrastructure and steadfast stance on enrichment present significant challenges to reaching a new agreement.

The Iranian people have to take control of their politics or accept Khamenei’s rule and suffer the certain ravages of intense military action against their nation. I hope and pray they make the correct peaceful choice.
Very sad because 1 nuke could wipe out Iran. Just 1 nuke could kill 13 million people in Tehran and many of those people are good people. May God have mercy on them and us!
