FBI Kills Elderly Utah Man Who Threatened Biden Online

-

ANALYSIS – Is the more trigger happy under and his Attorney General Merick Garland? It was just a matter of time before the aggressive FBI tactics used against Biden's political opponents would have deadly consequences.

And they just did.

As I have noted previously, the bureau has taken an extremely heavy-handed approach toward pro-life activists, Catholics and other conservatives, opposed to Biden policies, conducting unnecessary early morning tactical raids on peaceful, law-abiding citizens for minor alleged crimes. One of the most notable, or notorious, was the early morning FBI raid on the home a Catholic pro-lifer and father of seven back in September 2022.

At the time, I quoted LifeSiteNews as noting:

Since the Biden administration has taken power in January 2021, Garland's and the FBI have committed dozens of SWAT team raids that have been characterized as a political “weaponization” of the federal agencies against pro-lifers, Trump supporters, conservative Christians, and medical freedom advocates.

Now these aggressive tactics have taken the life of a barely mobile 75-year-old man shot dead on Wednesday for making online threats against Joe Biden and other government officials prior to Biden's visit to Utah.

Those comments included one last week where Craig Robertson said he had to “dust off” his M24 sniper rifle prior to Biden's arrival. (RELATED: This City Is Facing A Serious Police Shortage That's About To Get Worse: Here's Why You Should Care)

The New York Times reported on another post from 2022 where Robertson said he had a “patriotic dream” about shooting 's Democrat Governor with his “suppressed S&W M&P 9mm.”

His friends and family say that even though he was a gun enthusiast and made wildly intemperate comments, he was just ranting to a small circle on Facebook and posed no real threat.

The mostly homebound Robertson was referred to as a ‘kind and generous' person, a ‘teddy bear,' who was a pillar of his church and community. He was also roughly 300 pounds and only 5 foot 6 inches tall.

He used a cane to hobble around. He mostly drove to his church which was only 200 yards away.

This is why neighbors and friends questioned the early morning tactical raid on Robertson's home that took his life.

presumably knew all about Robertson since he had been under surveillance for months, and two agents had reportedly already interacted with him before the fatal Wednesday morning raid.

They knew that physically, and temperamentally, Robertson was no real threat. While he did own guns, he was mostly an obese elderly man with mobility issues who needed to rant loudly on Facebook. (RELATED: Report: Detained Congressman Threatened To Assault State Trooper, ‘Bury' Sheriff)

Biden was visiting 45 miles away. The feds knew they could have easily intercepted him outside while hobbling to his car if Robertson had left his house.

Tim Rich a Facebook friend of Robertson believes that “busting in” to the home of a man that they knew had a defensive mindset was reckless. As the Daily Wire reported:

Rich said he mostly ignored Robertson's political rants. “I just dismissed it — he's ranting again, voicing his frustrations,” Rich said. “I don't even know how many friends he had on Facebook; I would imagine not many and that his posts weren't going to many people.”

Robertson's post about shooting Biden referenced his M24 sniper rifle. Other subjects of his Facebook threats included Vice President Kamala Harris and Attorney General . A post from September 2022 read “Death to Joe Biden.”

Rich says he was shocked when he learned the interaction ended with the death of his friend and believes the choice law enforcement made to conduct an early morning raid led to the avoidable result.

The Daily Wire continued:

Accounts from neighbors to the Deseret News indicate that agents used a battering ram to bust through Robertson's door, and also entered his house through the windows. His dead body was left outside on the concrete, covered only by a blood-soaked white sheet…

The FBI needs to answer for this. An investigation is needed.

  1. The implicit message: “‘Government’ is not reason, it is not eloquence — it is force! Like fire it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master; never for a moment should it be left to irresponsible action.” (Often attributed to G. Washington, but unproven.) Or, more succinctly – mess with the .gov and die.

    • But radical and violent Leftists are very supportive of Biden and his policies. Why would the FBI want to interfere with or kill faithful Dem radicals? It is Catholics, pro-lifers, transphobes, home-schoolers, etc., who the Dems and FBI have issues with and who are standing in the way of Socio-Fascism. It is Super Ultra MAGA flag-wavers who stand in the way of Obama’s plan to “fundamentally change” America, so it is they who must be destroyed or at least locked up in gulags.

  2. I don’t condone the remarks made by the elderly gentleman. They were threatening.

However, the FBI should have used more restraint handling this situation. The article states he had been under surveillance prior to the raid. How much of a threat could a 300 pound person, wobbling around with a cane present? The issue of him having access to weapons should have been a deterrent to the FBI not to charge in before ascertaining if he was indeed a credible threat.

    Where is common sense?

  3. Hmm Okay, the guy had issues. However, So you storm trooper his house and blow him away. Was this necessary?! By his personal size assessment, doubtful he was going to run away anywhere. Dirt bags harrass Supreme Court Justices at their homes, no problem. We need to know more about the execution.

  4. I totally agree about the investigation…..I thought it was strange that all the report said was they….FBI…. raided the house….and he’s deceased…no info as to how it all came down….something just doesn’t smell right about this…..and the FBI and Secret Service are so tainted these days….makes one wonder….especially since he was so old and disabled…..just seems there should have been other options….but then guess not when it comes to a Trump supporter….

  5. Although I believe that excessive force was used and this man should not have been killed, it is a lesson we should all take seriously. No matter whether there’s a Democrat or a Republican in the White House, threatening the president is foolish, even if you aren’t serious.

If you’re expecting a SWAT team to stop to ask your neighbors whether you’re serious about your threats, you’ll end up dead too. In an ideal world, that’s what would have happened, but we don’t live in an ideal world and never will.

  6. Ya if he wanted to kill Biden oh no? But Trump ?? Just 2016 Snoop Dawg was threatning Trump. Nothing happend to them. Problally got rich from WEF.
