Conservative journalists and commentators have been quick to counter the Democrats and their media enablers’ ongoing misinformation attacks in the wake of last weekend’s mass shooting in Buffalo.
We can continue to expect the far-left will play the blame game in the hopes of minimizing their midterm losses. To defeat those efforts, it’s critically important that conservatives remain engaged and aware of the evidence refuting the many claims about the deranged shooter, 18-year-old Payton Gendron, that continue to circulate.
Here’s everything you need to know.
His Writings Demolish the Left’s Narrative
The Western Journal’s Samantha Chang went into great detail dismantling many claims about the shooter using his own words, courtesy of the 180-page diatribe some are generously calling a “manifesto.”
Nevertheless, his stream of consciousness reveals his ideology, which is the exact opposite of a Christian conservative.
Chang recorded no less than five instances of the teen denouncing conservativism and Christianity in his writing.
In her piece, she notes:
On page 7, the shooter expressly stated he is not Christian.
“Are you a Christian? No,” Gendron wrote. “I do not ask God for salvation by faith, nor do I confess my sins to Him. I personally believe there is no afterlife. I do however believe in and practice many Christian values.”
Chang notes on the same page that the future gunman writes glowingly about fascism, before adding that calling him a fascist “would be accurate.”
While the more nefarious elements of the left love to call conservatives fascists, our core principles of limited government, individual freedom, free markets, etc. represent the antithesis of tyranny and oppression.
Within the next two pages, the psychotic teen slams conservatism, emphatically declaring he wants “no part of it” before declaring that he falls “in the mild-moderate authoritarian left category.”
As if that wasn’t clear enough, Chang notes that:
On page 158, Gendron declared in capital letters: “CONSERVATISM IS DEAD, THANK GOD.”
A Massacre Motivated by Radical Environmentalism?
The Crime Prevention Research Center’s John Lott – a fellow American Liberty News contributor – pointed out in a Townhall op-ed that the beliefs the Buffalo shooter holds are much closer aligned with those expressly held by members of the Democratic Party, specifically its environmentalist wing.
In his manifesto, the gunman self-identifies as an “eco-fascist national socialist” and a member of the “mild-moderate authoritarian left.” He expresses concern that minority immigrants have too many children and will damage the environment.
Capitalists, who the shooter argues are destroying the environment, are at the root of much of the problem. “The trade of goods is to be discouraged at all costs,” he demands.
Overpopulation and the environment are hardly signature conservative issues. It’s certainly not something you’ll hear Donald Trump talk about at his rallies. And while some Republicans believe in limiting international trade, it’s certainly not for environmental reasons.
We usually think of Democrats, not Republicans, as the environmentalists.
The legacy media has long been placed on a pedestal in the eyes of the American public, but trust in such institutions has eroded in recent years thanks to watchdog media outlets who expose corruption and biases by outlets pretending that they have none.
Contrary to what I was taught in journalism school, I think it is OK for journalists and commentators to have biases, as long as they are presented upfront. We are all human, and those of us who write do so based on a point of view developed from our own lived experiences.

I think he’s typical of today’s democrat. Authoritarian, Fascist, enviro radical, anti capitalist. Sounds like he and AOC would have made the perfect couple.
