A new book alleges that longtime ally Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) privately joined the chorus of Republicans calling for the 25th Amendment to remove President Donald Trump.
According to an excerpt from “This Will Not Pass” by New York Times reporters Jonathan Martin and Alex Burns, a furious Graham called White House Counsel Pat Cipollone on the afternoon of the United States Capitol riot. The South Carolina senator raised the prospect of invoking the 25th Amendment if Trump didn’t aggressively denounce the violence.
Per Mediaite:
“[W]e’ll be asking you for the 25th Amendment,” Graham reportedly told Cipollone, on the condition that Trump did not condemn the rioters.
Martin and Burns spoke with Graham on Jan. 6, after the Senate was evacuated. And Graham actually went so far as to suggest that President Joe Biden was, as Mike Allen of Axios put it, “the right man for this time.”
“I mean, how mad can you get at Joe Biden?” Graham said.
More recently, Graham has cowered to get back in Trump’s good graces. Yet his efforts don’t seem to be having much of an impact on Trump.
When asked about Graham recently, Trump said “Lindsey’s a nice guy, but he’s a RINO.”

By the time January 6th rolled around, if you weren’t mad enough to join the protest in Washington, then you’re no Republican. If you didn’t believe and probably still do, that the election was stolen, then covered up by most of the scum, DOJ, SCOTUS, in Washington, you’re no Republican. If you did like the vice president, Graham, every democrat, most of the congress, and every main stream media, talking head for the democrats, and condemned the protest as an insurrection, you’re no Republican. You are probably not even an American at this point. Mr. Graham should retire. Let someone else “serve” his constituents.
I’ll bet the little jerk even voted for permanent DST the other day like apparently all the rest of the jerks in the Senate. That vote was not for getting rid of DST, it was for getting rid of the nuisance of changing your clock. About par for the course for a bunch of East coast, liberal, Republican, RINOs. That corridor is the least impacted by moving solar noon an hour ahead. The rest of the Senate are just not keeping up with current events and feel like yet another blow to the society, culture, habits, won’t hurt anybody. Who cares whether anybody wanted that or not. It seems like everybody now has to get on the dictator bandwagon and take what they can, while they can. Is that right Rubio? Another, not to solid, Republican.

Graham “ All bark And no bite” He talks a good game , but I must have missed the results. Please somebody let me know or post what he has accomplished in the senate.
